Today’s Children and How they are educated
The developers of the Rainbow Planet Connection, Karyn Nash and Carol Wood, have both been involved in the Education system for a number of years and realize the increasing challenges that many teachers are finding when dealing with today’s children.
We often label children as ‘behavioural problems’ but often what is being reflected outwardly by children’s behaviour is a result of inner turmoil and conflict as well as pressures from our current society and lifestyle.
Many children have not been taught how to deal with their feelings and often project their anger and aggression onto others. This in turn, greatly affects their social interaction and ability to make friends.
TV and computers have played their part in helping to create a generation of children who have poorly developed communications and social skills.
EMOTIONAL AND SOCIAL WELL-BEING are now being recognized as key factors in helping children to develop in a much healthier way, where they feel happier about themselves and are more likely to be successful in learning.
