Our online courses can be accessed from anywhere in the world!
All you need for this course is internet access, an interest in
developing new skills and having fun!
We will tailor the training schedule to suit your individual needs.
- Our Online Training Courses are designed to train and support teachers and others, including parents, who are interested in children’s HEALTHY SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
- You will be guided through the delivery of each training session with online training and feedback from Carol Wood – the Director of the Rainbow Planet Connection.
- On enrolment you will be provided with the full set of Programs and Resources to enable you to deliver between 8-10 sessions of Emotional and Social Skills well-being to groups of young children (primary school age).
- After you deliver each session you are invited to fill out a feedback form and e-mail it to us. We will then provide you with input and advice into any areas that you feel you need support with. An hour of skype or phone training is also included in this package for those who feel they need additional input.
We currently offer two online training courses:
Group Leaders Training E-Course
The 10 week training E-course for Group Leaders is for teachers, child counsellors, therapists, child-care workers and others who have a passion to promote the healthy social and emotional development of children in their care.
Note: If you are a parent you can still enrol on this course and use the activities with your own children. All you need for this course is a computer and a phone and a willingness to learn and have fun!
Aims of this course:
- This e-course has been created to provide resources and training to encourage and support the development of SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE in children
- Teaching EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE skills has been found to be a KEY FACTOR in producing happy kids with good self-esteem who are socially and educationally more successful
- The Program focuses on helping children to learn how to manage their own emotional energy as well as how to be more aware of other people’s emotional energy and how it affects them
- It introduces them to relaxation, visualization and breathing and body awareness techniques and teaches them how to use these techniques to centre and manage their own energy
- Creative self-expression activities are uses throughout these sessions including games, role-plays, movement/dance, art, story telling and more, to help children to explore and express emotions
- The program also helps to empower kids to deal with life issues such as bullying, friendships, anxiety etc

Parents E-Training Course
The 8 week E – Parenting Course has been designed for parents who realize the need to adopt new parenting techniques which work more effectively with today’s ‘New Energy’ children.
All you need for this course is a computer and a phone and a willingness to learn and have fun!
Aims of this course:
- This online parenting course helps to support you as a parent to develop parenting skills which are more effective with today’s children.
- The old methods of punishment and control are no longer working with many of today’s kids. We need to adopt a more proactive approach using new techniques that our children will respond to
- We will help you identify those areas in your parenting that you are finding challenging
- We will help you to find new ways of responding to your children, to acheive more cooperation and harmony within your family
